About this Event: Artificial Intelligence is a present-day reality that is reshaping the world and the field of education. This interactive workshop is designed for educators who are ready to move beyond using AI for productivity and efficiency and explore the practical applications of AI in the classroom. We will demystify AI, providing a foundational understanding of its potential to both support educators and create transformative learning experiences for students.
Participants will engage in collaborative activities, explore exemplary uses of AI in various content areas, and learn concrete frameworks for effective AI integration. This session is not about becoming an expert in every AI tool, but about building comfort and confidence with the technology itself. You will leave with the strategies and resources needed to start thoughtfully and creatively incorporating AI into your instructional practice tomorrow.

Our Presenter:
Frank Devereaux is an Innovative Deeper Learning Designer from the Madison area and works as a consultant for CESA 2 in the Strategic Innovation for Learning Center of Excellence. His experience centers on the integration of technology in creative and innovative ways to support student learning in the classroom. Over the past few years, he has been diving into the realm of AI integration, inclusivity and equity in STEAM curriculum, and Design Thinking Projects for the Makerspace that are culturally relevant.
