About this Event: English Learner (EL)/Multilingual (ML) students thrive when they receive language programming and services at the "just right" time to meet their needs. The Multiple Indicator Protocol (MIP) is a tool available in Wisconsin to help teachers gather additional evidence to support a student’s need for continued language education services or to exit services.

In this interactive, two-hour virtual session, participants will:

  • Gain a clear understanding of how to use the MIP to evaluate student work and determine continued services.
  • Explore real-world examples, including evidence aligned with the 2020 WIDA ELD Standards.
  • Engage in chats and online discussions to deepen their learning.
