About this event: Join CESA 2 leaders from regional school districts for tabletop discussions about strategies for adhering to mandates from Title II of the ADA regarding digital content in public educational institutions. Schools have until April 2026 to form a task force, implement a plan, and ensure that 100% of their websites, learning management systems, mobile applications, and digital content used for curriculum comply with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. You are encouraged to invite leaders (such as Tech Directors, Integration Specialists, Library Media Specialists, and any other Specialized Services Staff members) in your district who may be charged with joining a task force to implement a strategic plan to audit existing content and design the processes for creating an accessible digital infrastructure that will enhance the educational experience for all learners.

Our Presenter: Frank Devereaux
Frank Devereaux is an Innovative Deeper Learning Designer from the Madison area and works as a consultant for CESA 2 in the Strategic Innovation for Learning Center of Excellence. His experience centers on the integration of technology in creative and innovative ways to support student learning in the classroom. Over the past few years, he has been diving into the realm of AI integration, inclusivity and equity in STEAM curriculum, and Design Thinking Projects for the Makerspace that are culturally relevant.
