About this Event: We know school libraries serve as an integral component of student learning and well-being. Ideally everyone would understand this, yet the vital purposes and benefits of school library programming are not always visible to everyone. For this reason, we need to intentionally consider how to effectively convey our value to the school community.
Join fellow school library media specialists from around the CESA 2 region and state for a virtual book club discussion series centered around the AASL book Elevating the School Library: Building Positive Perceptions through Brand Behavior by Ballard and Johns. Gain valuable perspective and insight, along with practical implementation ideas for “elevating the school library” from fellow school library media specialist participants!
Registration for this book club is free, and includes four, 1-hour, after-school sessions. The first 10 registrants will also receive a complimentary copy of the Elevating the School Library book as well. All other participants will need to independently obtain a copy of the book.
