About this event: “Cyber Response Plans aren’t just for grandma’s anymore!” - Join us for an engaging and informative afternoon with cybersecurity experts Dan Honore and Bill Nash. This workshop, presented through our partnership with DPI and WISELearn Grant Funding, is designed to elevate your understanding and preparedness in the area of cybersecurity.
Goals of this workshop include -
- Policy and Procedure Assessment: Evaluate your current cybersecurity policies, procedures, and processes to better manage and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
- Organizational Resilience: Discuss strategies for risk management, including back-up procedures and recovery/restoration capabilities, examine your ability to respond to cyber incidents and improve your district's overall cyber resilience, and methods to ensure your organization can bounce back from significant cyber incidents.
- Training and Education Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of your organizational cybersecurity education and training programs for students, educators, administrators, and more.

Frank Devereaux is an Innovative Deeper Learning Designer from the Madison area and works as a consultant for CESA 2 in the Strategic Innovation for Learning Center of Excellence. His experience centers on the integration of technology in creative and innovative ways to support student learning in the classroom. Over the past few years, he has been diving into the realm of AI integration, inclusivity and equity in STEAM curriculum, and Design Thinking Projects for the Makerspace that are culturally relevant.
