About this event: Join us for quarterly in-person sessions designed specifically to meet the needs of school library media specialists. Each session will include updates and resources from our WI DPI school library consultant, Monica Treptow. This will be followed by a topic of focus, such as intellectual freedom, Al and the library program, library planning, various facets of collection development, STEM/STEAM, and whatever else we collectively decide is a priority this school year.
Ample time will also be provided for valuable in-person networking, along with collaboration within and across districts.
The October, December, and April sessions finish around noon with optional afternoon time and space available for independent, dedicated planning. CESA 2 consultant support can be available as needed in the afternoons. The February session will be a full day and include more formalized school library breakout sessions.
