About this Event: Join us for a full day of learning focused on strengthening interactive read-alouds and language-rich routines in early childhood classrooms.
Interactive read-alouds are a powerful instructional practice that support oral language development, expand vocabulary, and build the foundation for future reading comprehension. When thoughtfully designed, these experiences create meaningful opportunities for all children to engage, think, and communicate.
In this session, participants will explore practical strategies for planning and implementing rich, interactive read-alouds and embedding language routines throughout the day. With a focus on inclusive practices, educators will learn how to support diverse learners and create engaging, language-rich environments where every child can participate and thrive.
Participants will also receive a high-quality children’s book to take back to their classroom, along with ideas and strategies for immediate use with their students.
